For the past ten years, Queen Esther has labored with her husband,
Bishop Roan S. Faulkner, the pastor of New Life Pentecostal Ministries. During
her sojourn in this ministry, Queen Esther has served as Director
of Women’s Ministry, Director of the New Life Praise Ensemble
and Choir, Sunday School Teacher, and Church Administrator.
An energetic, disciplined, and well-loved first lady, Elder Faulkner
devotes most of her time to the betterment of the ministry. In
1997, God called his servant to preach the word. Since the
moment of her consecration, Elder Faulkner has preached the word,
in season and out, challenging men and women to seek a deeper walk
with God. She fearlessly challenges women to strive for higher
ground in Christ and in their daily lives.
Since 1999, she has served as the National Women’s President
of the United Church of Jesus Christ (Apostolic). On June 22, 2002
at Annual Holy Convocation of the United Church of Jesus Christ (Apostolic)
Queen Esther was ordained "Elder" and on September 8, 2002
she was installed as the "ASSISTANT PASTOR" of New Life
Pentecostal Ministries. On January 1, 2006, Elder Faulkner
was appointed the “CO-PASTOR” of New Life Ministries.
In her professional life, Queen Esther Faulkner is the Chief Administrator
of the United Church of Jesus Christ, Apostolic and the personal
secretary for her father, Chief Apostle Monroe R. Saunders, Sr. Also,
she is a Realtor with Long & Foster Realtors in the Baltimore/Howard
County vicinity.
The role that Elder Faulkner enjoys most is that of wife and mother. Bishop
and Elder Faulkner are the proud parents of Diane, Clarence, and
Roan, Jr., three saved, successful young adults.
Queen Esther praises God for the abundant blessings in her life and
she thanks God for the quality Christian up-bringing she received
in the home of her parents, Chief Apostle Monroe R. Saunders, Sr.
and Mother Alberta B. Saunders.
